"Summer at Cana Island." Cana Island Lighthouse is a treasure in Door County, Wisconsin. The island is only accessible during low water levels of Lake Michigan. A stone causeway leads to the lighthouse and the well kept grounds. Looking out from the lighthouse, it is easy to imagine the wildness of the lake and the importance of that lighthouse played in shipping
navigation.
