This park was a real find. This painting is based on a photograph I took while traveling in Madison County, Iowa of covered bridge fame. This bridge is located in the exceptionally lovely Winterset City Park where several scenes of the famous movie "Bridges in Madison County" were filmed, though not of this particular bridge. When you explore the park, you can see why this was chosen as a film site!
